Osteo-Support contains nutrients you need to help support normal bone health. It includes 1,200 mg of calcium, 200 IU of vitamin D, 200 mg of ipriflavone from Ostivone, and numerous other nutrients.

Calcium for Strong Bones

Vitabase Osteo-Support provides needed calcium for strong bones. In studies, ipriflavone was shown to have potential to prevent rapid bone loss after menopause, to increase bone density in postmenopausal women, to decrease bone fracturing, and to relieve bone pain from osteoporosis. Further studies are needed before specific health benefits can be established.

Vitamin D is necessary for growth and utilized in the digestive tract to aid in the absorption and use of calcium and phosphorus.

The body needs small amounts of boron for healthy bones and works synergistically to metabolize calcium, phosphorus, and magnesium. In postmenopausal women, boron helps prevent osteoporosis and build muscle.

Copper aids in the formation of bones.

Horsetail is a natural ingredient packed with minerals, particularly silica. Silica is vital for the body’s absorption of calcium.

Current studies indicate that women approaching menopause who increase their intake of soy isoflavones have significantly higher bone-mineral density. Japanese women with diets rich in soy isoflavones had greater bone-mineral density than those with diets low in soy isoflavones. More study is needed before specific health benefits can be established.
