3-desoxy-7-KETO-DHEA, also known as 7-keto DHEA, is a metabolite of dehydroepiandrosterone (DHEA), a hormone naturally produced by the adrenal glands. Its use in supporting the "Specific Hormones" body system is based on its relationship to steroid hormone metabolism. The scientific evidence for 7-keto DHEA's direct effect on hormone balance is limited.
