How it works

Lactose intolerance is an uncomfortable condition brought on by the body’s inability to digest milk sugar. This happens when the body is deficient in lactase, an enzyme necessary to break down lactose (milk sugar). L-acidophilus contributes to the production of lactase. The two Lactobacilli species are protected from the harsh stomach through a micro-encapsulation process.
