Vitabase ALA/ALC is a powerful combination of alpha lipoic acid and acetyl L-carnitine. It contains the proper combination of these ingredients in one convenient and economical formula.
ALA (alpha lipoic acid) is known as the universal antioxidant. In addition to its own ability to scavenge free radicals, ALA helps other antioxidants work better, including vitamins C and E and glutathione.
ALC (acetyl L-carnitine) is an amino acid closely related to the B vitamins. ALC’s primary job is to help cells possess enough fatty acids to produce energy. It also helps improve the effectiveness of the antioxidants vitamins C and E.
