The Bone Health Panel provides comprehensive evaluation of your bone health through convenient, non-invasive testing that measures key hormones and bone breakdown markers. This test analyzes fluctuating levels of estrogen, progesterone, testosterone, DHEA, cortisol, and FSH that may affect your bone density as you age, along with Pyrilinks-D levels that indicate specific bone breakdown activity. How it works
1. Collect your samples conveniently at home using the provided saliva tubes and urine container following the detailed instructions included in your kit.
2. Store and ship your samples by refrigerating them until all collections are complete, then packaging them in the provided box with the pre-paid UPS shipping label.
3. Receive your results in approximately 1-2 weeks when your healthcare provider gets your comprehensive bone health analysis.
The Bone Health Panel uses non-invasive testing of your saliva and urine to measure hormone levels (estrogen, progesterone, testosterone, DHEA, cortisol, and FSH) that affect bone density, plus Pyrilinks-D levels which indicate bone breakdown and loss.
Please note: For legal reasons, the initial consult with Dr. Fowl is required for this test. Both the initial and followup consults are included in the price of this test.
