Mega IgG2000

Mega IgG2000 Capsules is a serum-derived bovine immunoglobulin concentrate providing 2 grams of ImmunoLin® per four-capsule daily serving. It is intended for adults and children ages 2 and older who want to support intestinal barrier integrity, mucosal immune function, and healthy digestion — and for those who cannot tolerate colostrum or dairy-derived IgG products due to lactose intolerance or sensitivity to casein or β-lactoglobulin. Four capsules daily with or without a meal is the recommended dose. The formula is bovine-based and is not appropriate for individuals with a beef allergy.

The sourcing of the immunoglobulins in this formula is its primary point of differentiation from competing IgG supplements. Most oral immunoglobulin products on the market are derived from bovine colostrum or whey — both of which contain lactose, casein, and β-lactoglobulin, and are therefore contraindicated or poorly tolerated by individuals with dairy sensitivity. Mega IgG2000 uses ImmunoLin®, a serum-derived bovine immunoglobulin concentrate produced from bovine blood rather than milk, which eliminates all dairy proteins while delivering a higher concentration of immunoglobulins per gram than is typically achievable with colostrum-based sources. Each four-capsule serving provides approximately 900–1,012 mg of IgG, 92–100 mg of IgM, and 18–20 mg of IgA, alongside 100 mg of bovine serum albumin. The three immunoglobulin classes together address different aspects of luminal immune defense: IgG is the predominant systemic antibody class and binds a wide range of bacterial, viral, and fungal antigens; IgM provides a broader, less antigen-specific first-line response; and IgA is the primary secretory immunoglobulin at mucosal surfaces.

The mechanism by which oral immunoglobulins support gut health is distinct from that of probiotics or prebiotics. When consumed, IgG, IgM, and IgA transit through the gastrointestinal lumen where they bind to luminal antigens — including lipopolysaccharides (LPS), flagellin, mycotoxins, and other pathogenic and inflammatory triggers — and facilitate their removal from the gut before translocation can occur across the mucosal barrier. Research demonstrates that serum-derived bovine immunoglobulin (SBI) binds conserved microbial antigens that drive immune activation, reduces gut permeability, and supports gut homeostasis without adversely affecting commensal or probiotic bacteria. An ex vivo study found that SBI at equivalent doses of 5 g/day significantly increased production of acetate, propionate, and butyrate — short-chain fatty acids that fuel colonocytes and support mucosal repair.
