Mega IgG2000

Mega IgG2000 Powder is a serum-derived bovine immunoglobulin concentrate providing 2 grams of ImmunoLin® per one-scoop daily serving, mixed into 16 ounces of water or a beverage of choice. It delivers the same immunoglobulin formula as the Mega IgG2000 capsules in a powder format that may be preferable for children, individuals who have difficulty swallowing capsules, or those who want to mix it into a smoothie or functional beverage. It is appropriate for adults and children ages 2 and older who want to support intestinal barrier integrity, mucosal immune function, and healthy digestion without exposure to dairy proteins. The formula is not appropriate for individuals with a beef allergy.

The sourcing of the immunoglobulins is the formula's primary differentiator from colostrum and whey-based IgG products on the market. ImmunoLin® is derived from bovine serum — blood-based rather than milk-based — which eliminates lactose, casein, and β-lactoglobulin, making it a viable option for individuals who are intolerant or sensitive to dairy proteins but still require the gut barrier and immune support that oral immunoglobulins provide. Serum-derived sources also tend to deliver a higher immunoglobulin concentration per gram than colostrum-based products. Each serving provides approximately 900–1,012 mg of IgG, 92–100 mg of IgM, and 18–20 mg of IgA, alongside 100 mg of bovine serum albumin. IgG binds a broad range of bacterial, viral, and fungal antigens in the gut lumen; IgM provides a broader first-line luminal immune response; and IgA functions as the primary secretory immunoglobulin at mucosal surfaces, where it is naturally produced to coat and protect the intestinal epithelium.

When consumed, the immunoglobulins in Mega IgG2000 transit through the gastrointestinal lumen where they bind to luminal antigens — including lipopolysaccharides (LPS), flagellin, mycotoxins, and other inflammatory triggers — and facilitate their clearance from the gut before translocation across the mucosal barrier can occur. Research on serum-derived bovine immunoglobulin (SBI) demonstrates that it binds conserved microbial antigens associated with immune activation, reduces gut permeability, and supports gut homeostasis without disrupting commensal or probiotic bacteria. An ex vivo study found that SBI at equivalent doses significantly increased production of the short-chain fatty acids acetate, propionate, and butyrate — compounds that fuel colonocytes and support mucosal repair. The ImmunoLin® ingredient has been studied in over 10 published human clinical trials across a range of gastrointestinal conditions, including a randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled study in children with IBS-D that found improvements in stool frequency, quality of life scores, and functional disability compared to placebo.
