Sinopsis
El desmayo—conocido clínicamente como síncope—es una pérdida temporal de consciencia generalmente causada por una caída repentina del flujo sanguíneo al cerebro. Suele ser breve y seguido de recuperación espontánea. El desmayo puede afectar a personas de todas las edades, aunque las causas subyacentes pueden variar ampliamente según la edad, el estado de salud y el contexto del individuo.
Existen varios tipos de desmayo:
