La debilidad se refiere a un estado de debilidad física general, fatiga, o falta de energía que puede afectar la fuerza muscular, la resistencia y el funcionamiento diario. No es una enfermedad en sí misma, sino un síntoma o condición frecuentemente asociado con enfermedades crónicas, desnutrición, envejecimiento, recuperación post-infección, o estrés prolongado. La debilidad puede ser temporal (p. ej., después de una infección viral) o crónica (como se observa en el cáncer, la anemia, o las enfermedades autoinmunes).
